Admission Information

  • Graduation Requirement: High school graduation or equivalent qualification.

  • Exam Requirement: Passed the comprehensive final exam (regardless of whether it's the Korean CSAT/Suneung or not).

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Required to complete 3 levels of the Korean language program at the Seokyeong University Language Center (TOPIK Level 3 or higher is acceptable for certain majors like Engineering, Natural Sciences, Fine Arts, and Physical Education).

    • Required English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT 80 or higher) for specific majors.

    • Required to submit a Research Proposal for graduate programs.

  • Additional Requirement: Art and Physical Education applicants must submit a portfolio.

  • Required Documents: High school transcripts, graduation certificate, birth certificate, household registration, personal statement (CV), study plan, personal affidavit.

  • Application Fee (non-refundable): Approx. 80,000 KRW.

  • Enrollment/First Semester Fee: 100,000 – 150,000 KRW (Paid upon acceptance).

  • Visa and Insurance Fee (Paid later): Approx. 200,000 KRW/year or more.

Scholarships

Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)

  • Seokyeong is a participating university in the GKS 2025 program for Master's students.

  • The scholarship provides full tuition, entrance fee waiver, round-trip airfare, living allowance, health insurance, and research support if the student achieves TOPIK Level 5 or higher.

  • The GKS application deadline is from January to April each year, with online interviews conducted via Zoom.

Entrance & Semester Merit Scholarships

  • International students can receive an Entrance Scholarship: 30–60% tuition reduction for the first semester, based on academic performance combined with TOPIK level.

  • Maintenance Scholarship for subsequent semesters depends on GPA: 10–80% tuition reduction.
