Main Programs of Study
Design and Fine Arts: Includes industrial design, metalwork, interior design, communication design, and visual arts. The university is highly regarded in these fields in South Korea.
Automotive Engineering & Technology: KMU was the first university in South Korea to establish an Automotive Engineering department.
Computer Science & Network Security, Software Engineering: Focuses on developing AI applications and various digital technology-related research.
Business, Politics & International Relations, Social Sciences & Humanities are also diverse and practical, closely linked with professional industry practice.
Tuition Fees
Undergraduate Tuition (Học phí đại học) ranges from approximately 5,967,000 – 8,060,000 KRW/semester (approximately 5,000 – 6,800 USD/year), depending on the major. Entrance fees are approximately 352,000 KRW/semester.
Graduate Tuition (Master, PhD) (Học phí sau đại học) is around 4,101,000 – 5,642,000 KRW/semester, depending on the program.


Scholarships
Admission Scholarships may cover 100% tuition fees if students achieve TOPIK Level 6 or IELTS 8.0, 70% coverage for those with TOPIK Level 5 or IELTS 7.5, and various levels from 50% down to 20% tuition for lower proficiency levels under Global Scholarships.
Merit Scholarships: Awarded based on GPA and TOPIK results, these can grant a reduction of 30% up to 100% of tuition fees for the following semester.
KMU also accepts the Global Korea Scholarship Program (GKS / KGSP) from NIIED, which covers tuition, living expenses, airfare, and insurance for both undergraduate and graduate students.
