Admission Information
Graduation Requirement: High school graduation or equivalent qualification.
Exam Requirement: Passed the comprehensive final exam (regardless of whether it's the Korean CSAT/Suneung or not).
Language Proficiency:
Required Korean Language (TOPIK Level 3 or higher or completion of Level 3 of the university's Korean language program) OR
Required English proficiency (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 71 or higher, or equivalent).
Additional Requirement: Art and Design applicants must submit a Portfolio.
Application Fee (non-refundable): Approx. 90,000 KRW.
Document Screening and Evaluation Fee: 100,000 - 150,000 KRW (depending on the submission method).
Visa and Residence Fee (paid after admission): Approx. 200,000 KRW (depending on the time of payment).


Scholarships
Global Scholarship:
50% tuition reduction for Master's programs, 80% for Ph.D. programs.
Conditions: IELTS ≥6.0 or TOPIK Level 5, maintain a GPA ≥3.5, with no failing grades.
Medicine & Nursing Scholarship:
100% tuition waiver for Medicine & Nursing programs if GPA ≥3.0.
Entrance Fee Scholarship:
Waiver of the Entrance Fee (900,000 KRW) if the student studied Korean at Ajou for ≥4 semesters and achieved TOPIK Level 5 (75% waiver for Level 4).
Special Scholarship (Department-based):
80–100% tuition reduction, specifically for students who are not eligible for the Global Scholarship and are limited to a maximum of 50% of international students receiving this each semester.
Additional Funds:
Students may also apply for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) – which provides full financial support.
Other available funds include KOICA or corporate scholarships (especially for NGO, Policy, and Development Cooperation fields).
